Thomas Li (DK/CHN) is a producer, electronic composer and performer based in Copenhagen Denmark. As well as releasing his own projects and touring extensively with them, Thomas Li has also worked with a long list of Danish and international artists.
Thomas Li was trained in Soundtrack Studio, one of the major recording studios in Copenhagen, and has worked in studios in London, Beijing, Kyoto and Tokyo. He has been a long-term mentor and teacher for sound at The Danish National School of Performing Arts and is the owner of Li Studio. Based in the centre of Copenhagen, Li Studio is a workspace for both experimental and commercial music.
Thomas Li first toured Japan in 2008. In 2014 he started Cherry Music, an annual festival for contemporary Japanese music and sound art that aims to inspire artists and build creative bridges between Japan and Denmark.
